TFC Media League - Round 1

Welcome to the inaugural week of the TFC Media League. The race for the Graham Leggat Trophy has begun and so far it's the Toronto Sun in the very early lead. The Sunshine Boys have their arch-enemy Toronto Star right behind them and The Score not too far behind. Will the Sunshine Boys, Blue Star Toronto and The Sharmen be this season's big three?   1. Well Wimbledon is over for another year, thank goodness for that. The UK went tennis crazy with all hopes pinned on or British hopeful ' Murray', that was until he got knocked out and now he is just Scottish.

    Not a hope of opening a newspaper without reading about it or the heatwave, which we thank our Canadian cousins for sending us. Don't get me wrong we like a bit of sun but we can't be doing with 30 degrees for a week. Now it makes way for flooding before the start of the new footie season.

    So I've discovered that our satelite broadcast provider does show some MLS games, but I can bet you they will skip over the TFC games. A great shame I would love to see those seat cushions fly again (sorry, your all good guys now and just happy with clapping when they score).
